The Wyndcroft School is an independent, coeducational, non-sectarian elementary school located in a quiet, residential area of Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The school was founded in 1918 by a group of Hill School faculty for the education of their younger children. Wyndcroft was thus created in a Hill School faculty home and on several porches and lawns. In 1925 the school moved to its present location, expanding several times to reflect a growing enrollment and changing program needs over the years. The Wyndcroft School exists to fill a need for a traditional, rigorous academic program, which is strengthened by a small class size and a secure, nurturing environment. At Wyndcroft all children are expected to work to their potential. Parents are encouraged to work with the staff as their children progress through the development of skills that become the foundation of their future academic success. Wyndcroft addresses the needs of not only strong, academically talented children but also those students who are motivated. Our graduates are well prepared to meet the challenges of the most demanding and prestigious private secondary schools.
