The Wyndcroft School is a co-educational elementary day school for children in grades Early Education through Eight. The mission of the school is to offer a rigorous academic program enabling the child to establish a firm foundation for a happy and successful future with confidence to succeed in an ever-changing world.
Three, four and five-year-olds learn through play, while building a powerful educational foundation. This is when they discover that learning is both fun and challenging – it’s when they build confidence, self-esteem, and find independence bit by bit, in an environment that feels like family.
During the elementary years, students grow academically and are challenged to reach higher levels of intellectual achievement with the support of their teachers. Instruction is a combination of teacher-directed, individual exploration and collaboration among peers, allowing for multiple modes of learning.
Continued emphasis on leadership skills and character development, with guidance from teachers and advisors, is hallmark of the Upper School experience. By the time they complete eighth grade, students have demonstrated their maturity and readiness for high school.
