Community Service

Inspired by its motto, Non Sibi from the Latin for "not for oneself," Wyndcroft cultivates in its students a sense of gratitude, concern for others in the community, and responsibility to society at large.

Both inside the halls of Wyndcroft and out in our community, our students embody the spirit of Non Sibi. Our goal is to help our students develop a strong sense of selflessness, empathy, and compassion and to carry that with them in the world.

The Wyndcroft School community service program puts our motto into action. Students are regularly challenged to contemplate how they can impact their world in a positive, meaningful way—at any age and at any time.

We have identified several key traits that are essential for students who embody the Non Sibi spirit. Each grade level focuses on developing a specific character trait throughout each school year, with the ultimate goal of our students acquiring all of these traits by the time they walk across the stage at graduation.
