Arts
A good academic education will help our students eventually to make a living, but at Wyndcroft we believe it will be their exposure to the arts that will help them make a good life. As the song from Mama Mia puts it, “Without a song in our hearts what are we?”
At Wyndcroft the arts play a lively part of the school year. The studio arts, drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery begin from the earliest grades and are a main part of the curriculum every year. During Arts Week in the spring, the school becomes one giant studio as all the children’s work is displayed all over the school.
Music plays a large roll in a students life in Wyndcroft also with a fine curriculum in voice and music study and many opportunities to be involved in musical presentations. Instrumental instruction is available in group or individual lessons before and after school in piano, guitar, violin, flute, clarinet, saxophone and trumpet.
