The Wyndcroft Parent Teacher Organization (WPTO)
was created to for the following three purposes:
- To enrich the educational experience
of the students at the Wyndcroft School by providing activities,
services and projects for these students.
- To provide a channel of communication
between parents, teachers and administration and to promote a
continuing positive relationship between these groups.
- To foster parental involvement in
school functions, programs and projects.
The WPTO host's several events throughout
the school year designed to be educational and fun:
- Back to School Picnic - September
- Blood Drive - October
- Book Fair - October
- Batwing Ball - October
- Staff Appreciation Breakfast -
November
- Holiday Cheer - December
- Holiday Bazaar - Early December
- Family "Glow" Bowling -
January
- Family "Bingo" Night - November & March
- Family Roller Skating - April
- Staff Appreciation Luncheon - March
- Community Service Projects -
throughout the year
- Sunshine Society - throughout the year
- Educational Seminars - throughout the
year
The WPTO meets the second Thursday of
every month at 8:30AM (unless otherwise noted in the school calendar or
Bookbag Mail). We invite you to attend our monthly meetings. The WPTO
depends on parents to make its projects and events a success. Without
high levels of parent involvement, we could not offer so many fun and
interesting activities for our children.
