Eighth-grader Catie C. had the incredible opportunity to serve as Wyndcroft’s Head of School for the day after winning the Head of School for the Day raffle during last year’s WhirlWynd Day of Giving. With enthusiasm and confidence, Ms. C. embraced the role and left a lasting impression on the school community.
The day began with Ms. C. greeting the student body during morning car line, followed by special announcements at the All-School Gathering. She attended and led meetings with school administration, visited younger classrooms as a guest reader, and enjoyed lunch with Dr. Tekakwitha Pernambuco-Wise and two friends at the Blue Elephant restaurant.
Ms. C. made two exciting announcements during her leadership: a No Homework Day on Monday, January 13, and a Dress-Down Day on Thursday, February 6—both met with enthusiastic cheers from her peers.
Congratulations to Ms. C. for a job well done and for showcasing the incredible leadership potential of Wyndcroft students!
