The students' desire to learn and the ability to teach to such a responsive group of middle schoolers.

What inspired you to become a teacher?

I had some very influential teachers myself throughout all my schooling that were inspirational! I love being creative, organized, and purposeful, which are traits that are very helpful as a teacher!

What is a book that you do not use in your curriculum that you would recommend all of your students read? Why that book? What makes it special?

I love anything written by Roald Dahl. I devoured his books as a child and was drawn to the characters and worlds he created. They are fantastic to read aloud.

Where is somewhere in the world you would love to travel to and why?

I would love to travel to Utah to unplug with my family and see the beautiful landforms!
