The families and students are committed to education and it is the highest honor to work with all of them. I love building relationships with the families so we can work as a team throughout the whole school year!

What inspired you to become a teacher?

My fourth grade teacher was such a patient, kind, encouraging teacher. I thought I wanted to bring out the best in every student just like she did with me and all her students.

What is a book that you do not use in your curriculum that you would recommend all of your students read? Why that book? What makes it special?

The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale This inspiring book will help you have a positive outlook on situations that happen in your life. We use "Mindset" in the classroom which is the same approach to building happiness, ownership, and success in the classroom and in life.
