Quick Questions: Mrs. Robinson, Music Teacher

Mrs. Robinson has been teaching music at Wyndcroft since 2018. She is a graduate of Westminster Choir College with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education.

What inspired you to become a teacher?

My mom really instilled a love of learning in me from an early age. Her desire to learn right along with my siblings and I really kicked off my passion for teaching.

What is a book that you do not use in your curriculum that you would recommend all of your students read? Why that book? What makes it special?

It's so hard to choose! The Little House on the Prairie books are some of my favorites to read. I grew up enjoying the illustrations and understanding how to use the resources around for sustaining life. They taught me how to appreciate simple pleasures and a sense of gratefulness.

Where is somewhere in the world you would love to travel to and why?

Scotland! To visit my great grandparents homeland and hear all the bagpipes.
