On May 9th, 2023, two eighth graders from Wyndcroft School had the opportunity to present to the Board of Trustees about their experiences at the school and how it has impacted their academic careers. Jackson and Shriya shared their stories of growth and development, highlighting the important role that Wyndcroft played in their journey.

Jackson, a "Lifer plus 1," as he described himself, which means he had attended Wyndcroft since he was in Early Childhood, talked about his many accomplishments during his time at the School. He received an award for his academic enthusiasm and dedication, which is a testament to his hard work and commitment. Additionally, Jackson received a 4-year full-ride merit scholarship at Perkiomen School in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, where he will continue his educational pursuits after graduation.

Shriya's presentation was focused on how her experience with a Wyndcroft education helped her come out of her shell. She arrived at the school in the second grade as a shy child who tended to keep to herself. However, during her time at Wyndcroft, Shriya got involved with the drama program, which helped her develop critical skills and become an articulate young woman.

Shriya also talked about her involvement in the Advanced Geometry class, which laid down the foundational groundwork for her educational pursuits beyond the four walls of Wyndcroft. This class helped her discover her aptitude for mathematics, which she will continue to study at The Hill School in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

Jackson and Shriya both attributed their successes to Wyndcroft's challenging academic program, which fully prepared them for secondary school. The emphasis on leadership development and personal accountability also played a significant role in shaping them into the people they are today. 

Overall, the Board of Trustees was impressed with the presentations of these two distinguished eighth graders. Jackson and Shriya's stories are a testament to the power of a quality education that not only prepares students academically but also helps them develop into well-rounded individuals. The Wyndcroft School takes pride in the impact it has had on its students and wishes its graduates the best of luck as they continue their educational journeys beyond Wyndcroft.
