From April 23–25, Wyndcroft’s sixth and seventh grade students ventured to Echo Hill Camp along Maryland’s scenic Eastern Shore for an immersive, two-night outdoor education experience.
Throughout the trip, students explored a wide range of environments—from forests and meadows to marshes, beaches, and the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Whether investigating pond life, wading through streams, or observing wildlife in the wetlands, they engaged deeply with the natural world in hands-on, unforgettable ways.
This beloved annual tradition not only reinforces classroom learning but also encourages curiosity, independence, and teamwork. Echo Hill continues to be a highlight of the year—where nature becomes the classroom, and memories are made to last.
