🧪 Fourth-Grade Field Trip to the Pfizer School of Science: A Day of Discovery and STEM Adventure

On Tuesday, October 22, Mrs. Conrad’s fourth-grade class embarked on an exciting journey to the Pfizer School of Science in Collegeville, PA, for an unforgettable dive into the world of STEM and robotics. The trip featured Pfizer’s interactive Mobile Experience, a thrilling, hands-on activity that transported our fourth graders into a universe of codes, riddles, and robotics challenges – all within the walls of an impressive mobile lab.

The Mobile Experience is no ordinary learning environment. Every ten minutes, teams of future scientists entered this high-tech mobile lab, which is designed like a real-life ‘escape room,’ complete with clever clues and intricate codes. Each team was challenged to crack complex puzzles, test problem-solving skills, and think critically under pressure. The students had to work collaboratively to uncover hidden solutions, using both their knowledge and creativity to unlock the next stage of each challenge.

From decoding secret messages to troubleshooting robotics functions, our students had the opportunity to see STEM in action – and learned that science and technology are often like a mystery waiting to be unraveled. With every successful code they cracked, the students celebrated their growing skills and teamwork.
