🇫🇷 French Fête at Wyndcroft: A Celebration of Language, Culture, and Creativity

The Wyndcroft School once again celebrated its vibrant tradition of cultural exploration with the highly anticipated French Fête, an event showcasing the remarkable talents of students in the school’s French program.

On Monday, March 3, the Lower School students kicked off the festivities with charm and enthusiasm, captivating the audience with lively performances. From classic French nursery rhymes to a whimsical house tour, a stylish fashion show, and heartfelt presentations of their favorite stuffed animals—all conducted entirely in French—these young linguists impressed with their growing confidence.

Later in the morning, the Upper School students took the celebration to new heights with immersive, museum-style exhibits that transformed the school into a living showcase of French culture. Visitors wandered through a Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, an art gallery, a travel agency, and a history museum, engaging with "wax figures" that sprang to life with fascinating facts about famous monuments, tourist destinations, and legendary French artists.

A standout moment of the day was the eighth graders’ original French dialogues, where they brought their own scripts to life with humor, drama, and linguistic finesse.

Parents and special guests were truly amazed by the students’ dedication, creativity, and passion for French language and culture. More than just a language showcase, French Fête at Wyndcroft is a celebration of global learning, cultural appreciation, and the joy of discovery, a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded, worldly students.
