The Philadelphia Museum of Art
One of the best art museums out there, with art from all over the world and all different time periods. It is currently featuring an Impressionism art exhibition through August 18th.
A really unique museum with a huge collection of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, and Early Modern paintings from some of the most famous artists (think Picasso, Van Gogh, etc.)
The Michener is a wonderful museum in Doylestown showcasing artists local to the Philadelphia area. Walk right across the street and see some historical artifacts at the Mercer Museum.
Similar to the Michener Museum, the Woodmere focuses solely on Philadelphia’s artists.
