Summer Fun for Everyone

If you are looking for some adventures this summer to do with your smallest student up to the oldest there are a few local spots that you can explore.

The Reading Public Museum has a vast array of exhibits that you can walk through for a variety of ages. As an added bonus, the planetarium that is part of the museum has wonderful shows and space exhibits that you can enjoy. There are many pretty grassy areas around the museum that you can take a picnic lunch and make a day of the museum.

Local public libraries offer many different programs over the summer, many of them free.  There are reading clubs that encourage students to read and earn prizes. The wonderful thing about libraries is that they also offer free passes to many area attractions that you can “check out” for a week at a time.  Go online and check out what is available at the library closest to you.

Wherever your summer takes you, I hope that you enjoy time to rest, relax and learn with your student.
