Dear Wyndcroft Families and Friends,
It has been my honor to have been associated with the work of the Wyndcroft School, and I write today to announce my intention to retire at the end of the 2020-2021 academic year. It is not easy to leave a community to which I am devoted, but the time is right to transition to new leadership and new opportunities for our students.
I came to Wyndcroft nearly 20 years ago and I could not have imagined the incredible journey ahead. Every day as I arrive on our beautiful campus, I am excited to see bright and eager students flourishing. I have been fortunate to work beside incredible teachers and administrators dedicated to Wyndcroft’s mission and the traditions of ‘Non Sibi”. It has been my pleasure to serve this vibrant and committed community of faculty, staff, students, and families.
Over the years I have been blessed to work with a remarkable and dedicated Board of Trustees who have shared and supported my vision in countless ways. Their unwavering support has helped to build an attractive campus that includes an Early Learning Center, a green field play area, modernized science labs, additional upper school classrooms, a gymnasium, and a spectacular Learning Commons. All this and more has been achieved to secure a dynamic program of instruction for Wyndcroft students.
As I come to the end of my Wyndcroft journey, I want to express my admiration and gratitude to our parents for their commitment to education and their support to the school. Our Trustees have given their time, energy, and financial support over the years, for which I am truly grateful. I want to thank the faculty at Wyndcroft for all their hard work in creating a community that loves learning. And lastly, I must thank my wonderful administrative team who work tirelessly to shape this amazing community.
I look forward to the next 12 months, as I continue to learn and grow alongside my colleagues. There are many exciting challenges on the horizon and my goal will be the same as always: do everything possible to make the Wyndcroft School experience the best it can be. In the meantime, I will be reminded every day of the privilege of working with talented and dedicated people who bring their energy to our community.
My warmest regards,
