The Wyndcroft School embraced its rich tradition of cultural celebration as it hosted the annual French Fête, a week-long event that invites parents and special friends to witness the incredible achievements of students in the school's French program.

On Monday, November 6, Lower School students took center stage as they delighted the audience with their selections of Olympic sports, songs, and skits presented entirely in French. The young performers not only demonstrated their language skills but also showcased a remarkable understanding of various Olympic professions through engaging skits. The auditorium echoed with laughter and applause as these talented students sang French songs, bringing a delightful start to the week-long celebration.

Upper School students raised the bar with their unique and captivating presentations on Tuesday. Transforming the school into a living Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, art exhibit, and museum. Students meticulously researched and portrayed famous monuments, tourist attractions, and renowned French artists. The immersive exhibits provided an educational and entertaining experience for the visitors, who were able to interact with "wax figures" that came to life with historical and cultural significance.

The highlight of the day was the students' creative dialogues, where they acted out scenarios written by themselves. The performances demonstrated not only their linguistic prowess but also their ability to weave compelling narratives in French. 

Parents and special friends marveled at the dedication and creativity displayed by the students. The French Fête at Wyndcroft School is not merely a showcase of language skills; it is a testament to the school's commitment to providing a holistic education that fosters cultural awareness and appreciation.
