Meet Tasha, Wyndcroft Lifer, Class of 2021

What is your earliest memory of Wyndcroft?

My earliest memory of Wyndcroft is going to the Crayola Factory in Kindergarten. I don't remember much, but I remember going on the bus and going to a few of the exhibits and just having a great time!

What is your favorite Wyndcroft tradition and why?

My favorite Wyndcroft tradition is Field Day. It is my favorite tradition because it allows us to have healthy and fun competition, building up school and team spirit. Additionally, we always have ice cream and watch a movie which is a great ending to the already eventful day.

Describe one of your favorite Wyndcroft Lower School teachers and why they are your favorite.

One of my favorite Lower School teachers is Mrs. Harrison. Mrs. Harrison always made science class fun class and inspired me to learn. I especially enjoyed it when she played episodes of the Magical School Bus. I also loved doing hands-on experiments in her class.

Describe one of your favorite Wyndcroft Special Area teachers and why they are your favorite.

One of my favorite special area teachers is Mrs. Nisula. Mrs. Nisula always had us doing fun and new art projects that expanded our artistic abilities. She also always encouraged us to be creative and do our best.

What will you miss the most about Wyndcroft?

What I will miss most about Wyndcroft is the community. Wyndcroft has great and enthusiastic teachers that make this school great. I will also miss my friends and all of the fun traditions that Wyndcroft has to offer.

How do you feel being a Lifer at Wyndcroft has prepared you for success?

Being a Lifer has prepared me for success in a multitude of ways. First of all, I have gained great friends that helped make me the person I am today. I have also learned the importance of a strong community. The public speaking skills that I have gained from Chapel have also helped to set me up for success. Additionally, I have been exposed to both French and Latin which will help me in secondary schooling and beyond.
