Six 7th grade students recently participated in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) State Competition at Penn State University from Sunday May 20th thru Tuesday May 22nd. Jheanelle Robinson, Romil Shah, and Nicholas Valoret earned the ability to compete at the state level for their work at the regional competition in February. Jheanelle and Romil placed 2nd in their category at states. Nicholas placed 1st in his category. Congratulations! And a special thank you and congratulations to McKay Allain, Carly Mullaney, and Morgan Naivar who earned the ability to assist with the competition as technicians. Students got to experience dorm life at Penn State by spending three days on campus!
