Founded in 1949, The Delaware Valley Science Fairs, Inc., is one of the oldest and largest Fairs in the country, DVSF embraces a philosophy is that students learn science by doing science. In the process, students learn how to think and develop critical problem solving skills that they will need for careers, college and citizenship. Each year, 900 to 1,000 students in grades 6th through 12th from Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware, make new discoveries that could change their lives forever as they participate in the Delaware Valley Science Fairs (DVSF). Nearly $6 million in scholarship and prize money is awarded to student winners.
