When your little one climbs out of their car seat and makes their way into their first day of preschool, it might be difficult to imagine who they will become and how they will be ten years from now on their eighth grade graduation day.

Favorite Wyndcroft tradition or memory: I would say that my favorite Wyndcroft tradition that I've been a part of is Field Day. I always enjoyed competing against my friends.

How has Wyndcroft prepared you for success? It has taught me how to manage my time, which will help with my classes in high school. Wyndcroft has also taught me how to bond and connect with people.

How has Wyndcroft prepared you for success? Wyndcroft has helped me to develop into who I am today. It has also helped me prepare for the secondary school application process and with getting me into the Perkiomen School.

Favorite Wyndcroft tradition or memory: Participating in the spring musical is one of my favorite memories because acting and musical theater are my passions.

How has Wyndcroft prepared you for success? Wyndcroft has prepared me with public speaking: from the musicals and presenting at gatherings.

Favorite Wyndcroft tradition or memory: My favorite Wyndcroft memories are ones created with the entire girls' basketball team this year and going on the Boston trip. Basketball season was so fun because of the girls on the team and the coaches, Mrs. Stone and Mrs. Seeders. Everyone on the team was so hardworking and nice that they made every practice so fun. Boston was a really great time with my friends, and I will never forget some of the experiences we were lucky enough to have.

How has Wyndcroft prepared you for success? Wyndcroft has prepared me for success because I have grown up at this school. I have not just learned the motto, Non Sibi, but many other life lessons and skills that will take me far in life.

Favorite Wyndcroft tradition or memory: My favorite Wyndcroft tradition is Field Day. I like Field Day because it is a super fun day, but it is also a competition.

How has Wyndcroft prepared you for success? Wyndcroft has always challenged me to get better - learning hard things, and pushing me out of my comfort zone.

Favorite Wyndcroft tradition or memory: Field Day is my favorite tradition at Wyndcroft. All of the different events throughout the day has always made it memorable. 

How has Wyndcroft prepared you for success? Wyndcroft has given me tools that will help me succeed. The tools Wyndcroft has given me are grit, knowledge, and wisdom.

Favorite Wyndcroft tradition or memory: One of my favorite memories I'll never forget is when I named myself Piggy Wiggy in Lower School.

How has Wyndcroft prepared you for success? It has given me a very strong base education and has allowed to expand on my hobbies and interests.

Favorite Wyndcroft tradition or memory: My favorite memory from school is when we visited Echo Hill because of the nature-based learning.

How has Wyndcroft prepared you for success? Taking Geometry will help me get into better math classes in the future.


Commencement 2023

There is no keynote speaker at our Graduation Ceremony. It is a Wyndcroft School tradition that each graduate delivers their commencement speeches.

Mindy Scheier,
Wyndcroft Class of 1985
Founder, Runway of Dreams

In 2014 Mindy Scheier - a fashion designer and mother of a child with a disability, founded Runway of Dreams Foundation (RODF).  After spending 20 years in the fashion industry and opening a design school for kids, Mindy decided to combine her experience and her passion to address this unmet need by founding the Runway of Dreams Foundation.

Herbert Turner,
Wyndcroft Class of 2014
MIT Aerospace Engineering

As a sophomore at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, “Herbie” worked with a group of MIT researchers to find ways to reduce drag on satellites due to the Earth’s thermosphere. He is the lead author on their paper entitled, “Machine Learning Algorithms for Improved Thermospheric Density Modeling” that was accepted for presentation at the Dynamic Data Driven Applications (DDAS) 2020 Conference in October 2020 in Boston, MA.

Olivia Zitkus,
Wyndcroft Class of 2012
First female SGA President at The Hill School

Olivia made history at The Hill School.  A former Wyndcroft Student Council member, Zitkus was elected as the President of the Student Governance Association (SGA) at The Hill School.  This is the first time in the history of the school that a female has been elected to the position.  The Hill School was a boys school until 1998 when the school became co-ed.

Mark Forrest,
Wyndcroft Class of 2010
Drafted BY Major League Soccer

Mark Forrest, playing collegiately at Lehigh from 2015-18, was twice named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year (2017 and 2018). Additionally, the Douglassville, Pennsylvania native earned First-Team All-Atlantic Region honors as a senior and the United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-America honors as a junior. Over the course of his career at Lehigh, Forrest racked up 73 games played (66 starts), 41 goals and 21 assists. The striker notched his most single-season goals (15), assists (8) and points (38) during his junior campaign. Upon his graduation, Forrest was drafted into Major League Soccer by the Chicago Fire.
