Happy Autumn!

With the warm weather outside, it's hard to believe Saturday is the first day of fall! Wyndcroft is kicking off the season with another busy week of events. Thank you everyone who came out to join us for the 5K and Healthy Family Fun Fair. Both events were thoroughly enjoyed by families and staff on such a beautiful day!

We hope to see you TONIGHT at Lower School Back to School Night!

On Thursday, September 20 at 7:00PM, Lower School parents are invited to Back to School Night. At this event you will hear from Mrs. Wolter, as well as the Lower School teachers and Special teachers on their plans for the 2018-2019 school year.

Thank You: Thank you to everyone who came out to support our fall sports teams at Play Day on Monday. Almost 300 student athletes and 13 different teams participated. With your support, the day was a great success. We look forward to hosting again in the future!

Be sure to check the Athletics Calendar below for directions and pick up times for all team events!

Vision and Hearing Screenings

State mandated vision screenings will be held on Friday, September 28 for all students in grades K-8.  If your child wears corrective lenses, please make sure they are available on the day of the exam.  In addition, hearing screenings will be conducted on students in grades K-4 and 7th grade per state requirements.  Parents will be notified by letter only if students do not pass the screenings.

Medication Reminders

If your child has need for any medication during the school year, a standing order form with a doctor's signature must be submitted for the nurse to administer either OTC or prescription medications.  This includes all rescue medications, such as inhalers and epi-pens.  If your child is identified as asthmatic or has a severe allergy requiring an epi-pen, an action plan from their doctor is considered the order for those medications. All medications should be given directly to a staff member or the nurse. Please go to the Forms and Information page for all the printable medical forms.  Please forward any questions to Mrs. Bressi or by calling the main office at 610-326-0544.
