What is The Wyndcroft Fund?
The Wyndcroft Fund is the number one fundraising priority of The Wyndcroft School.
The Wyndcroft Fund sustains all areas of the School including academic, athletic, and extracurricular programs, faculty salaries, and building operations. Gifts to the Wyndcroft Fund have an immediate impact on the School, enabling us to meet expenses not covered by tuition or endowment income. A robust Wyndcroft Fund allows us to continually invest in resources and programs that provide all students with a rich educational experience and the opportunities to reach their personal best.
A gift to The Wyndcroft Fund is the most tangible and personal way to drive Wyndcroft's mission forward. Each year, The Wyndcroft Fund covers roughly 4% of the school’s operating expenses and helps bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a Wyndcroft education.
Participation is a key element of the Wyndcroft experience. You see it on the playing field, on stage, and in the classroom. Our students shine in areas where they might not have ever dreamed they could — simply because they were offered the chance to participate. It's no surprise then that Wyndcroft graduates go on to become class presidents, captains of their teams, and leads in plays in college.
These opportunities for self-discovery are made possible by the Wyndcroft Fund. It provides the financial resources that help our students pursue their passions, expand their understanding of the world, and discover a wealth of positive new experiences every day.
Over the years, gifts to The Wyndcroft Fund have helped to support and sustain:
- Implementation of technology improvements including the installation of interactive whiteboards, webcams, and one to one Chromebooks and iPads for our Kindergarten to 8th grade students.
- Upgrades to technology systems including installation of wireless access points throughout the building.
- Construction of playground areas for our early education programs and another for first through eighth-grade students.
- Completion of the installation of air-conditioning in all the classrooms in the school.|
- Installation of a new camera security system with all doors under electronic surveillance and card access only.
- Continuing education opportunities for our faculty and staff.
- Our athletic program with additional seasonal sports offerings.
- Music programs with the addition of Orff instruments.
- Theater programs with the upgrade of the auditorium light and sound system.
Your fully tax-deductible contribution may be made anytime between July 1 and June 30 and will go right to work supporting Wyndcroft’s mission.
